Only 8 days remain until the start of this year’s CVSA Brake Safety Week inspection spree. The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance says it expects over 30,000 brake inspections to take place between September 7th and September 13th.
It’s never wise, or safe to operate a vehicle with brakes that are not what they should be. Air leaks, hydraulic leaks, worn linings, loose or missing components, cracked or damaged components, and out-of-adjustment brakes can all lead to serious issues. All of these potential deficiencies are sure to be targeted during the week long campaign.
