Columbus Expansion - 07/27/09

Reliable Transportation welcomes Dan and Allyson Schutte and their current Columbus, OH operation on August 1st 2009. Their operation that currently runs close to 42 trucks is going to merge with Reliable's current operation which has 13 trucks will begin operations as one on August 1st. "This will allow Reliable to be a viable choice for our customers the run traffic to and from the Chicago area to the Ohio Valley as well as operating the local Rail Ramps in Columbus, OH." Our customer base asked to expand our Columbus operations and we are very happy to grow our operations in Columbus. Kansas City Aquistion - 01/07/08

Reliable Transportation Specialists, Inc. is proud to announce the purchase of Trimodal Inc.’s- Kansas City, KS facility. Kevin Lhotak, President, states, "This will enable us to grow our existing Kansas City operation by adding a 20-acre container yard with container maintenance and repairs done on site. Not to mention an increase of our drivers. This is a continuing effort our company is making to serve the domestic and international intermodal customer base we have, and offer additional services". 2006 Starts with new Opportunities in Savannah

Expansion Continues with Kansas City

Reliable Transportation Specialists, Inc. announces the opening of its Kansas City, Kansas facility. Servicing both intermodal and door-to-door shippers, Kansas City continues to expand RTSI's capacity and flexiblity.

Atlanta Facility Opens
November - 2005
New facilities in Atlanta are now open. The Atlanta operations focus on both door-to-door, intermodal and flatbed and van moves.

Local Detroit gets dedicated Dispatch Operation and yard
June - 2005
The dispatch operation for local Detroit moves was relocated to Reliable's new office and yard facilities in Detroit. This move allowed for the implementation and maintenance of a chassis fleet, as well as better devopment of the Owner-Operator base to accomodate increased local Detroit freight. Additional yard space was also added to increase the flexibility of the Detroit operations.

RTSI Chicago relocates to Lansing
March - 2004
Reliable Transportation Specialists, Inc. has just completed its move of the Chicago office to our new Lansing location.  Our new office will help us provide improved services to our customers with much more yard space and a large 5-bay heated warehouse.  Please contact our sales department if you are interested in utilizing our dock services.

Expansion
July - 2003
RTSI moved to its new corporate headquarters in Chesterton, IN on July 18, 2003.  Our new facility gives our department more room to improve organization and load coordination.

Mobile Communications
February - 2002
RTSI has completed installation of PeopleNet G2X in-truck text messaging and GPS systems in its 175+ owner-operator based fleet.

Integration with RTSI's dispatch software is in final testing with a targeted implementation date of 12/01/02.

Web Based Load Status
March - 2002
Our On-Line Tools will let customers view real time load details and status information.  The tools also allow the viewing of both open and paid invoices, outstanding accessorials, and general account information.

Document Imaging
January - 2000
The RTSI Document center  will let customers view or print all paperwork on file for any of their loads right from their web browser.
