Purchase of Container Express
May - 2010
Reliable Transportation is pleased to announce the purchase of Container Express of Summit, IL. Kevin Lhotak, President of Reliable states- " We have also recently started new operations in Charleston, SC and expanded our service in Atlanta , GA . This purchase and the opening of Charleston and increase truck capacity in Atlanta, will allow us more truck capacity in the Midwest and further strengthen our Domestic and International presence in the Midwest and South East regions with over 400 trucks to better serve our customers." New Services in Detroit

Relocation of Reliable's Detroit facilities makes new services available: Container Yard Chassis / Trailer repair facilty Warehousing Cross-Dock and transload capabilites Expanded Owner-Operator fleet The new facilites will still offer a chassis pool, and secured yard storage in a location even more convenient to the local rail yards

2006 Starts with new Opportunities in Savannah
January - 2006
Reliable Transportation Specialists, Inc. proudly announces the opening of it's Savannah, Georgia Facility. This facility will service both intermodal and door-to-door shippers, as well as the Port of Savannah.

Atlanta Facility Opens
November - 2005
New facilities in Atlanta are now open. The Atlanta operations focus on both door-to-door, intermodal and flatbed and van moves.

Local Detroit gets dedicated Dispatch Operation and yard
June - 2005
The dispatch operation for local Detroit moves was relocated to Reliable's new office and yard facilities in Detroit. This move allowed for the implementation and maintenance of a chassis fleet, as well as better devopment of the Owner-Operator base to accomodate increased local Detroit freight. Additional yard space was also added to increase the flexibility of the Detroit operations.

RTSI Chicago relocates to Lansing
March - 2004
Reliable Transportation Specialists, Inc. has just completed its move of the Chicago office to our new Lansing location.  Our new office will help us provide improved services to our customers with much more yard space and a large 5-bay heated warehouse.  Please contact our sales department if you are interested in utilizing our dock services.

Expansion
July - 2003
RTSI moved to its new corporate headquarters in Chesterton, IN on July 18, 2003.  Our new facility gives our department more room to improve organization and load coordination.

Mobile Communications
February - 2002
RTSI has completed installation of PeopleNet G2X in-truck text messaging and GPS systems in its 175+ owner-operator based fleet. Integration with RTSI's dispatch software is in final testing with a targeted implementation date of 12/01/02.

Web Based Load Status
March - 2002
Our On-Line Tools will let customers view real time load details and status information.  The tools also allow the viewing of both open and paid invoices, outstanding accessorials, and general account information.

Document Imaging
January - 2000
The RTSI Document center  will let customers view or print all paperwork on file for any of their loads right from their web browser.
